WUSHU (KUNG-FU)

Wushu is the traditional Chinese martial art. It is often confused with Kung Fu. Kung Fu, directly translated “Kung” means “skill” and “fu” means “time”. Wushu means “martial arts” that involves bare hand forms (taolu), practice sparring (sanda), and weapon practice (long, short, & flexible weapons).

TAEKWONDO

The martial art of Korea known for its explosive high kicks and fast hand techniques. It combines combat and self-defense techniques with sport and exercise. Our Taekwon-Do program adheres to the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) guidelines and practices as originally taught by the founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi.

TAI-CHI CHUAN

The study and practice of Tajiquan is the study of natural harmony. Through the movements, the deep breathing, the focus of intention, the ideal of body and mind in synch becomes reality. Proper practice of Qigong and Tajiquan can help you rediscover your natural movement, freedom of energy, and personal potential.

    WHAT ARE THE AGES REQUIREMENTS?

    There are no age requirements. We teach children from 4 years old up to 70 years old adults. There are classes for all ages and all tastes.

    I NEVER DID ANY MARTIAL ARTS. IS THIS A PROBLEM?

    No, it is not a problem. No matter what is your experience, our instructors are here to teach you the beauty and power of martial arts starting with your own level.

    MY CHILD ALREADY DO OTHER SPORTS. WHAT CAN THEY LEARN FROM MARTIAL ARTS?

    When learning martial arts, children get physically and emotionally strong. Martial arts teach respect, discipline and emotional strength to overcome challenges.

    WILL I GET HURT?

    No, absolutely not. Although martial arts bring some level of contact as well as training how to fight, all our classes and instructors work on the safest environment. On the contrary, by learning how to fight, how to defend yourself and pushing your training to improve your physical strength, you will be more prepared to deal with daily situations.
